Hard Work? Never Heard of It.
Some people show up early, stay late, and go the extra mile. I am not one of those people.
And yet, somehow, since I walked through these doors, this place has never been the same. Maybe it’s my presence. Maybe it’s my ability to look extremely busy while doing the bare minimum. Either way, I deserve recognition.
Why I’m Clearly the Star Employee:
✔ I attend every meeting. (Well, my name is on the list, so that counts, right?)
✔ I always reply to emails. (Eventually. After a nap.)
✔ I bring ‘good vibes’ to the workplace. (Translation: I make sarcastic comments and send memes in the group chat.)
✔ I am consistent. (Consistently waiting for lunch, consistently checking the clock, consistently fabulous.)
The Secret to My Success? Looking Busy.
You’d be surprised how far a well-timed sigh and a deeply concentrated stare at your screen can get you. Add a random head shake and mutter “this system is so slow today,” and boom—you’re suddenly the hardest-working employee in the office.
